The CereTax API contains some restrictions. These restrictions were put in place to help improve the developer experience and reduce the risks of crashes, errors, outages, and emergency rollouts for developers.
API Request Limits
| Type of limit | Limit |
|---|---|
| Transaction per second (TPS) | TPS limits are set at the account-level. Every CereTax account is assigned a usage plan that determines your TPS limit. |
| Invoice line items | A maximum of 1,000 line items are allowed on an invoice. |
